Conventional wisdom holds that the majority of muslims worldwide are peaceloving folk who abhor the violence perpetrated by their fanatical brothers and sisters. While this may be true, there is little evidence to support such a viewpoint: you can count on one hand the “voices of moderation” in the islamic world.
On the other hand, there is plenty of evidence of the hatred and love of violence in the words of the Arab leaders and clerics themselves, as presented at MEMRI: The Middle East Media Research Institute.
