Here is a digital scratchboard, created in Painter. Inspired by a rock quarry that we passed by in Worley, Idaho this past weekend. Didn’t have time to stop for a picture, but I remembered how the rock glowed in the sun. That’s what I tried to capture here.
I’m not terribly excited about the foreground. I may need to re-work that at some point.
UPDATE: Foreground changed. Meh. Not that great, but useful as a test of the technique in Painter.
